Location Scouting

Was forced to visit one of my favorite places on Monday... Kauffman Gardens..... I have two bridal portraits there next week.... wanted to make sure that things were as they usually are... gorgeous. Something new every year. Enjoy.

I'd post a couple of the bridal portraits next week... but sneaky grooms can't be trusted... and no one sees the dress ahead of time... except me and moms.

It Won't Be Long Now

Back in 1989 almost two million dollars were spent sprucing up Cliff Drive. Part of the funds were used to create this waterfall. It occupies the space where folks used to fill up jugs with spring water from a pipe that came out from a large shell. The quality of that spring water became unreliable and the fill point blocked in the 60s. The waterfall will be running again after the danger of a hard freeze passes.
