Big Giant Moon Again

Tuesday night I venture out to see the Super Moon.  Cloudy, but shot anyway.  Nikon D850, Nikon 70-200mm lens. 

Arrival Of The Birds

I start feeding the critters in February each year.. a little earlier if it's a really rough winter.   This video is condensed down from four hours worth of video in my back yard.  

When Birds Go Fishing

 Ring-billed Gill flying over the Kaw River looking for lunch.   Dove down for take out.    Used the
                          Nikon D500 and 80-400mm lens, ISO 1000, F9 at 1/640th.

Hungry Times

Starting in February I clear (if necessary) an area in the back yard and fill it with wild bird seed. There are many grateful visitors.  Sometimes they even get along.

No Swimming Or Wading

      "Nice" weather prompted a trek to Kaw Point.  Icy, cold, and gray: perfect for black and white.

A Walk In The Mist

Impossible to not take photos in the fog... opportunity doesn't arrive that often.  These shots were
                        taken in Kessler Park and on the Concourse and in the Colonnade.  

All shots taken with the Nikon D850 and Nikkor 28-300mm lens.  ASA 500. 

 

 

Crystal Morning

Ventured out early for some snow scenes.   Ended up just walking around the KC Museum.  Roads were too slick for anymore travel.  Walking was fine and the area looked beautiful
