Rivers Rising

          Barring additional rains the Missouri and Kansas Rivers will crest tomorrow night around 7pm  
                   Nothing serious will come of the new levels, but it's impressive to behold. 

 
                        Water level this afternoon ( 7/4 )...the water will crest around their knees. 

                                  He's pointing toward the spot where they actually landed.

Foggy River Town

 

The City was mystical yesterday as the fog rolled in and stayed.  Above and below, the Richardson-Graham Bridge over Anderson Road in Northeast Kansas City.  

All shots below are of Kaw Point.  The Kaw River is on the right, the Missouri River on the left.  The skyline of Kansas City is normally visible right in the center.

A Bridge So Far, Part Two


 Woodswether Road on the West Side of City Market leads down to my vantage point.  My last update was May 9th. A Bridge So Far   Below is what the new Buck O'Neil Bridge will look like.  Finished in 2024.
