Trains Of Thought
The rail lines in the West Bottoms used to bring thousands of cattle into the stockyards each day.
That time is long past, but the lines are still heavily used for freight. Great place for train watching.

Urban Deer
A gathering of deer in the Scarritt Point Historic District in Northeast Kansas City, February 25th. This home was built by Matida Scarritt Owens, daughter of Nathan Scarritt, in 1899. The current owners are engaging in a restoration. It's behind the Kansas City Museum.

Foggy River Town
The City was mystical yesterday as the fog rolled in and stayed. Above and below, the Richardson-Graham Bridge over Anderson Road in Northeast Kansas City.
