Taken after a heavy winter snow in 1998.  The Reservoir in Northeast Kansas City.  Used 4x5 camera and Plus-X film.   Just a visual cooling off for today.

Urban July

City view from Liberty Memorial.  First shot is a panorama; three shots stitched together in Photoshop.  Huge file but lots of detail.    Second shot is just one. Minimal processing in PS... used a polarizer on the Nikkor 24-70mm lens Nikon D850 body.

A few shots of the iconic Scout Statue in Penn Valley Park. 

Northeast Tall Grass Prairie

 Top two photos were taken on May 11th of this year.   Bottom two photos were taken on June 16 of this year.  The bottom image shows the complaint history.   This property has been a sore spot for years and is right next to Northeast High School.  It's 345 Van Brunt Boulevard.  Really would be nice not to have to look at it like this all summer again.

Dance Your Heart Out

Saturday, June 8, 2019 was the 10th Annual Brian M. Anselmo Foundation "Dine and Dance With the Stars held at the Overland Park Convention Center.  1200 folks got to see pros from Dancing With the Stars judge local couples who danced to raise funds for the charity.  Over $500,000 was raised that evening.  Then, the pros danced for the crowd.  It was great fun as usual.  Jerry and Mary Ellen Anselmo (  2nd and last picture ) are the Foundation masterminds.  Congratulations to all.
