Blues Town

KC looking southwest from Paseo Boulevard.

It Won't Be Long Now

Back in 1989 almost two million dollars were spent sprucing up Cliff Drive. Part of the funds were used to create this waterfall. It occupies the space where folks used to fill up jugs with spring water from a pipe that came out from a large shell. The quality of that spring water became unreliable and the fill point blocked in the 60s. The waterfall will be running again after the danger of a hard freeze passes.

Twenty And Still Going Strong

Today is Daugther's birthday. 19 years ago she was just learning to navigate on the neighborhood sidewalks. Happy 20th Birthday Kelly!

Ongoing Vehicle Sunday

The yards of two homes in the East Bottoms contain, take your pick, yard art/salvage/trash/collectibles. I'll post more shots later, but thought Donna (Just Me) would get a kick out of this piece. From the rear wheel spikes I'd say it would be right at home on the tundra.

More From Pano Panoply

Views from the west side of Corinthian Hall overlooking Goose Neck and the Cliff Drive Scenic Byway. First image looks primarily west with Gladstone Boulevard on the left and the east bottoms on the right. Skyline is left of center. Second image looks south with the bottoms on the right and Corinthian Hall on the left. Used high dynamic range in these. Each shot is composed of five shots which in turn are composed of five shots and then converted using Photomatix and stitched together with Photoshop. It sounds more complicated than it is... it just takes time.
