Cliffhanger Run 2018
Today, Saturday November 3, 2018, was the 33rd Cliffhanger Run...a 5k, 10k and 1 mile kids run along beautiful Cliff Drive. The weather was perfect for running. These are just a few of my shots for the day. All of the shots can be seen at:dl=0https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5nsfqen8mgy7l40/AADD-SW0Q7NElFecMFXNsSNja?dl=0
The race was staged by the Kansas City Track Club. Above is a picture of children from Crestview Elementary located north of the river.
Above and below, the first two runners back to the finish. Probably 8k.
Malenda Shahane blazing fast.
Kansas City University students ran with kids too.
Above, State Representative Ingrid Burnett finishing the run and campaign in style. Her husband John and Daughter Betsy and Granddaughter .
You don't have to run, you can walk, saunter, or hop.
Mary Jo Longstreth... long-time resident of Northeast and an officer in the Junior Class of Northeast Highschool.... year not important.
After the race participants headed to Gladstone School for a pancake breakfast and the announcement of times and medal winners.
