A Bridge So Far, Part Two


 Woodswether Road on the West Side of City Market leads down to my vantage point.  My last update was May 9th. A Bridge So Far   Below is what the new Buck O'Neil Bridge will look like.  Finished in 2024.

Landscaping Historic Northeast


                                                                The Kansas City Museum. 

Below, directly across from the Museum is the Steven's Home, 1906.  The current owners have totally restored the home and purchased the lot next to it a few years ago.  They installed a formal garden this year. 





Below, directly across from the Museum to the East is Townley Manor, 1901.   The current director of the Kansas City Museum spent part of her childhood in this home.  It too has been totally restored.

A Bridge So Far


              Contstruction on the new Buck O'Neil Bridge is well under way.  Quite an undertaking. 

                  What the finished product will look like.   This view is north.  Will be finished in 2024. 

While I was there a train came by head east...  Couldn't let it pass without a photo. 










                       Above...supports are in place for the road sections south of the river.
