Seen during my walk around Pendleton Heights today.... above, Spring blossoms and the Tiffany Mansion.... below, turkey vulture.... which would have nothing to do with me coming closer..... proves, I guess, that I don't look dead.
plenty of dead things out there. so glad you didn't call it a "buzzard." i became adamant on that a while ago. buzzard is an old english term for hawk. vultures are vultures. last one i saw circling was off hwy71. this one looks well fed.
