Arrival Of The Birds

I start feeding the critters in February each year.. a little earlier if it's a really rough winter.   This video is condensed down from four hours worth of video in my back yard.  

Hungry Times

Starting in February I clear (if necessary) an area in the back yard and fill it with wild bird seed. There are many grateful visitors.  Sometimes they even get along.

 This is Across the Street Cat who has managed the art of Flat-Laying...  he likes my yard better than his yard.

                            One of two new squirrels this year.   He finds me mildly interesting.

Tree Rats in Abundance

With three walnut trees surrounding my back yard I have an abundance of arboreal varmints clambering everywhere. When they aren't messing around in your attic or eating the well-tended harvest of tomatoes squirrels are kinda cute. With apologies for any unintended offense to commenter RJSciurus who takes his squireliness very seriously. All but one of these shots are of the same animal who would actually stop and pose when I aimed the camera at him/her.
