Lafayette Square Homes Tour - Volume Two

In 1884 this home, 2332 Whittemore Place,  was built and it's first occupant was a female doctor who used the front room as her office.  Over the years it suffered neglect and, after a period of time as a rooming house, was purchased in 1976 by the current owners.  They demolished interiors down to the brick, furred, insulated and dry walled for a new beginning.  Original moldings were replaced with exact duplicates.  After the garden shot below, I have included some of the sights and homes between this house and the next one on the tour.

Arch Rival

I love visiting St. Louis.   It's the quickest way to visit an eastern city.  Lots of east coast influences along with French and other European architecture.

Blatant Bragging

My client, Amber, won Crown Cover Model with the above picture we took in the America US Miss pageant in St. Louis. She also was the 3rd runner up overall. Congratulations Amber... and yes, she is taken by a fellow who has access to torpedoes.... :) Above shot taken with the Nikon D 3 at F16 and 1/250th, ASA 200... one large softbox above the camera position, one hairlight set to the same power as the mainlight and one background light on the white background....

Two Winners In More Ways Than One

My two most recent pageant photo subjects competed last weekend in the Miss American Coed Pageant in St. Louis. Amber, above, won Miss Photogenic (yea me) in the Miss Missouri Teen Division. And Taya, below, in only her second pageant ever was 1st Runner Up in the Sweetheart Division. She also won Miss Photogenic and Best Hair, Best Smile, Best Gown, Best Interview and the Spirit of America Award.
Congratulations to both girls on their success.... they are both extremely nice in front and not in front of the camera.... also, congratulations to their coach Lorenzo who has more winners than any other coach in the midwest.....
