Curb Your Punks
Adventure time on Hyper's street today as 5 wannabe burglars decided to test police response time. Police won. Sharp eyed neighbor reported mini-perps and seven squad cars and the helicopter responded. Two adults and three juveniles were escorted from the house. Kudos to the neighbor and the police. Sunrise Drive is now just a little bit safer....
One person who drove through the scene managed to hit a police car...(burgundy car at left).... real bad timing and total embarrassment....

KC Parks Part Four: Swope
Swope Park is the 29th largest municipal park in the United States. It's 1,805 acres were donated to the City in 1896 by Thomas Swope whose Memorial Gravesite is contained on the grounds. Above, Lake of the Woods on Gregory and, below, the approach to the Swope Memorial.
