Historic Northeast Bridge

This bridge was constructed in 1897...all iron.   It was refurbished in the early 80s and named after the two women who founded Children's Mercy Hospital- Drs. Richardson and Graham . The bridge carries Gladstone Boulevard over Anderson Avenue.

Fall On Cliff Drive

View of KC from the top of Goose Neck (the rode from Gladstone Boulevard down to Cliff Drive.)
Like all the trees in the city this year, the ones along Cliff Drive are showing their finery.

Romanesque Revival?

That's the style I'm calling Our Lady Of Peace for now.   Would welcome correction.  Parish established in the late 1800s.. this structure was built early 1900s.   Mostly granite.  It's really not as scary as these first two shots indicate... but it lends itself to spookiness none-the-less.   Formerly Saint Stephens, it is still an active and vital parish.
